On this first lab report we learned a lot of basic necessary skills when using the excel application. One of the first skills we learned was how to format worksheets on excel. Formatting a worksheet on excel is very important, because this will customize the worksheet to your specifications. The second skill we learned in chapter one was how to copy and paste objects and format slides. This is a very much used skill in the excel application as it makes your presentation more understanding and interesting by copying and pasting objects.
On the second lab we learned how to use the average function. The average function saves a lot of time in finding the average in the data rather than finding it manually, it does it automatically. Formatting column charts is the second skill we learned in the second skill we learned in chapter 2. Formatting column charts is very important because the overall look of a chart can be updated. Via the application of a prebuilt map Format in which an overall visual look is used by changing its graphic effects, to a map, Colors, as well as backgrounds.
On the third lab we learned how to organize work sheet tabs. Organizing worksheet tabs is very important, because if a file contains more than one file, you can switch between worksheets, worksheets by clicking on the tabs on the worksheet. The second skill we learned in chapter 3 was how to move cell contents and use the paste options. Cell and range data can be copied from and then pasted in the same to other cells worksheet.
On the fourth lab we learned how to insert the “IF” function. The “IF” function is a logical function that checks whether criteria are met, and then returns one value when the condition is TRUE and another value when the condition is FALSE. The second skill we learned in chapter 4 was how to apply conditional formatting. Conditional formatting is a format, such as cell shading or font color that is applied to cells when a specified condition is true....
