1. Reflecting on your group experiences from last semester, what did not go smoothly and what could have been improved by using a project management tool? There were a few small issues from my previous experience with my past group members. For instance, when working on the TD case, me and another group member were in charge with designing and making the slides. However, there was no communication between each other and it was difficult to work on the slides together. Another issue was writing dates for our next zoom calls. It was difficult to find the dates we planned because it was written throughout a 13 page document. For the first problem, a project management tool could severely improve communication problems. Using this tool, me and my group members would have planned out a schedule where only us two could meet up and talk about our ideas. This would have improved our communication and in general it could have had a positive impact on the assignment. It's always better to work as a team rather than staying independent in group work. For the second issue, a management tool would keep all our dates neatly organized. There would be no struggle finding our meeting dates and it would be less time consuming. For example, I missed our first zoom meeting because when I looked through our document, I was unable to find the date for the meeting. As I mentioned before, it would keep everything organized and simple to find. 2. What are the key features of Asana and why are those features important? How could you use them to improve your group's performance this semester? The key features of Asana is providing an outline of what to do, how high the priority and providing a calendar for your daily routines. These features are important to use and understand because they provide a clear picture of what to do and when to do. Additionally, it shows which tasks are a higher priority. This shows us what tasks are more important to do and which ones have a low priority. This could improve our groups performance for this semester by allowing us to plan out our tasks or goals in an easy and organized way. It will provide us with a list of project goals, features, and functions for our work. In addition, it will help us track and monitor the progress of our project. Tracking the work each way will help us understand what we need to do, what we need to continue doing and lastly, how we progressed. Overall, I believe Asana could be a very useful and helpful tool to use, especially for this venture project....
