A leader usually overlooks a group of people and is some one that others look up to. Textbook approach -Leadership is a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal (Components- groups, goals, influence, process) The Natural Born Leader Leaders aren’t just born they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goal or any goal. -Vince Lombardi Is that really the leader? ⁃ Assigned leadership - job role, or other designated position - CEO, president, pastor, shift leader, manager, etc. -Emergent - the natural born factor? - representative of the group?
