1. What are the differences between talking to your friends or family over the Internet and talking to them in person? - The difference between talking to your friends/family over the internet and talking to them in person, is that when talking to them in person there much more expressive and proper ways to communicate with them successfully and properly, whether for only private matters or okay for others to hear. While talking to them on the internet, there may be tendencies in which we may share and comment on things where others may take it differently and make fun of someone because of it. To conclude, talking to friends and family over the internet have much more responsibility as a netizen where we should think before we post and check our format to avoid miscommunication, etc. while talking to them in person, we have much more control over the way we manage and construct our information/content in what we communicate to them.

2. What could Erika have done to avoid this situation? -

Erika could’ve thought first carefully before commenting on such things over the internet. She should’ve asked before she posted a comment and paid attention to the format of her comment in order for the viewers can understand properly the intended message. She should put into mind doing it that she is on the internet which she should be more careful with what she does, such as posting, commenting, or sharing content/information while in cyberspace.

3. What could Alan have done to avoid this situation? -

Alan should’ve controlled his temper and acted in the right way before letting his emotion run him down. He should’ve asked immediately Erika to take down the comment or asked to edit its content whether in the format he preferred or making himself clear first upon the intended message of the comment. And he should be more forgiving in order to keep their relationship with Erika and do let their internet interaction effect in how they treat and see each other personally. By that, they should be much more careful users and netizens on the internet....
