Conflict that occurs when one is unsure of the rules for a situation, thereby causing him to act in correctly in that situation. Struggle with fate Conflict that occurs when one is faced with forces beyond their control. 1st degree conflict Lowest level of conflict. At this level the conflict is a simple problem that needs to be resolved. 2nd degree conflict Involves differing points of view. These conflicts are more difficult to resolve and are more time consuming as well. 3rd degree conflict Escalates conflict into a struggle for power. Many conflicts at this level are longlasting arguments. 4th degree conflict Has advanced to the level of physical and verbal attack. The loser will decide to fight or flee physically, mentally, and/or emotionally. 5th degree conflict This type of conflict resembles war, and the parties involved have the mindset to destroy their enemy....
