IV.Procedure:

A.Preparatory Activities 1. Drill ( What is the word) Find the hidden word by writing the letter of the corresponding number in the alphabet ______ _______ _______ _______ _______ ________ _________ 8 1 18 13 6 21 12 The word is: HARMFUL 2.Review The Teacher will ask: What we have learned yesterday? Anyone can recall? Expected Answer:( About Changes of the material that is harmful to the environment) The teacher will ask: Who can give an example of some changes that is harmful to our environment ? 3. Motivation (Teacher Made Song) 1 2 4 5 7 8 10 The teacher will ask:

The teacher will present pictures and let the pupils describe the pictures. Look at the pictures , are you familiar with the following pictures ? The Teacher will present the KWL chart to determine the prior knowledge of the pupils I have here a chart, we will fill in each column . (The teacher will discuss each column)

2.Exploration (We do)  The teacher will guide the pupils in doing the activity. Activity #1 (Game) The teacher will say: In your bond paper you have there an illustration of a human body.

The other are pictures , what you are going to do is to cut the pictures and afterwards, place the picture as to what number they belong.

Activity #2 The teacher will say : In your activity number 2 , you are given the functions of the major organs, what you are going to do is to cut and place that function to organ it belongs.

Activity #3 The teacher will say: In your activity number 3, you are going to arrange the jumbled letters to form a word. You must listen to the teacher for the clue on each number. 3.Explanation  The teacher will explain the concepts of the main function of the major organs of the body through Powerpoint Presentation  Checking of Previous Activities  Revisiting KWL chart 4.Elaboration  The teacher will administer activities to elaborate and to have a better retention of the concept Setting Standards in Group Activity  Follow your leader  Work cooperatively  Avoid too much noise  Enjoy the activity Activity #1  The teacher will administer an interactive quiz Activity #2 (Game –Step on Me)  The teacher will group the pupils  The teacher will give clue and the pupils will step on the organs that has been describe Activity #3 ( Group Activity Who am I)  The teacher will give the function of the organs of the body , afterwards; any representative of the group will complete the sentence “ Who am I_____________”. Generalization What have you learn from our lesson today? What are the organs of our body? Can you give me function of any of the organs of the body we have discuss?  The Teacher will present the KWL chart Valuing The teacher will say: Does our organs of the body important? What we will do to take care our organs? Our organs of the body is very important because they are responsible to make us alive and healthy. We should take care of it by eating nutritious foods and drink plenty of water. 5. VI. Reflection At the beginning of the lesson, the pupils are started to motivate their interest by answering the given drill. At the middle of the discussion, they seems to enjoy and learning takes place and strategies were quite effective in retaining the concepts. At the end of the lesson, above 80 % of the pupils got the correct answer.
