OBJECTIVES A.Content Standards The learners demonstrate understanding of weathering and soil erosion shape the Earth's surface and affect living things and the environment. B.Performance Standards The learners should be able to participate in projects that reduce soil erosion in the community. C.Learning Competencies Given an activity, the Grade 5 pupils are expected to: 1. describe how rocks turn into soil (S5FEIVa-1); 2. investigate extent of soil erosion in the community and its effects on living things and the environment, (S5FEIVb-2) and; 3. communicate the data collected from the investigation on soil erosion (S5FEIVc-3) II.
