Current status and evidence From my experience, a lot of skills have been gained through my university, my selfstudy and work as what are captured on the table above. Moreover, I have build up a good background of tools and contents related to data analytics through these activities. These can be considered that I’m possessing a good foundation to

develop my prospective career in Data analytics as well as the industry of Information Technology. However, everything still should be improved day by day. Most of the chosen jobs require the applicants to have a strong knowledge of programming languages and database. I have gained a lot of skills in Python from introduction to DA and the course on Datacamp. Besides, GitHub is a tool that 99% of coding works need for code management especially coding projects with a team. I’m getting to master GitHub skills after completing introduction to software development. I also have a little bit background in R language from Introduction to Statistics where I have to code on R for all the labs session. Besides, Bachelor’s degree is mostly the minimum entry requirement in job application in these companies chosen because these works are professional. One more indispensable attribute is working with database. I used to have opportunities to work with SQL when taking the subject database fundamentals at UTS. Beside these key factors, Human resource from data companies also demands for good background of algorithms and communication skills because these take a quite vital role in the optimization when releasing products and problem solving if there are conflicts during work processes or some bugs in code.
