Overview of Assignment Transportation creates place utility through the movement of goods. To achieve their logistics objectives, organizations are often faced with several strategic transportation decisions to be made. You are about to plan a transportation Request for Quote (RFQ) and are in the preliminary research phases to be prepared for final review with the management team. Students will work independently developing the preparation work for the Transportation RFP for the chosen company. Instructions: There are five parts to this project with the final research to be submission to be submitted in Canvas. Procurement and Transportation are under pressure to contain costs, while minimizing operational complexity by reducing suppliers and achieving service-level expectations of internal customers.
