1.INTRODUCTION Father Urios Academy of Magallanes Incorporated (FUAMI), is the only Catholic institution in the municipality of Magallanes, AgusanDel Norte. The essence of this school is quality education and the spiritual foundation not only of the students enrolled in this institution, as well as its faculty and staff. FUAMI offers Pre-school, Junior and Senior High School. Being a Catholic school is an edge of FUAMI for it does not only offer good quality of education, but also builds the morality and spirituality of students, Christians and Non-Christians. They envisioned FUAMI as a Christ- centered Apostolate committed to form persons into becoming authentic and holistic stewards. Their goals are to establish culture of excellence in the field of spiritual formation, instruction, research, extension, and production. To be able to achieve these goals, FUAMI does not only focus on writing, they also expose students to different performance to enhance their capabilities, application of learning and interpersonal relationship. They conduct spiritual activities like Gagmay’ngKristohanongKatilingban (GKK), Recollection and Mass. Christian Living Education and Word and Life Magazine subscription are also part of their religious subject. Major factor that affects the school is the economic status of the residents of Magallanes. Majority of the people in Magallanes are dependent on the jobs offered by the three companies of the municipality namely, Emco Plywood Corporation, PSPI, and JAKA. The presence of these three companies offer employment to people which means a shutdown of one them will leave many people jobless. Company closure decreases the employment rate of Magallanes, which unable the parents to support the education of their children. Most of them have low monthly income and are also 4Ps recipients. They may hardly afford the tuition fees of the students and other miscellaneous fees become issues because small amount of fees might be expensive for the parents. Some Senior High School students have stopped their studies to work and earn money. For them it’s the most practical way to survive. Because of that, the school has to adjust their fees affordable for them and pursue the students to enroll SHS for their own benefits. 1.1 MISSION STATEMENT With Mary our model, we commit ourselves to: 1. Inculcate gospel values to all stakeholders; 2. Design programs to achieve academic excellence; 3. Conduct research for school and community development; 4. Develop social responsibility among stakeholders; and 5. Produce graduates who are Christ-centered and globally competitive. 2. All the offered SHS courses have National Certificate II (NCII) for those students who pass the national assessment. Magallanes National High School (MNHS) is the only competitor of FUAMI since there are only two schools that offer JHS and SHS. It is a big advantage to FUAMI since they offer the best educational services in town. PLACE Father Urios Academy of Magallanes Incorporated (FUAMI), is located in Brgy. Buhang, Magallanes, AgusanDel Norte. Compare to MNHS, FUAMI’s location is a great advantage since it is nearer in the central part og Magallanes and is easy to locate because it is along the high way of Magallanes. The place is also more attached to technology, making their studies easier and more efficient. Seniors have free tuition fee because of the government’s voucher given to SHS students. Miscellaneous are the only additional fees in both Juniors and Seniors. Kindergarten in FUAMI offers more tuition than in any public preschools that are offered for free, since FUAMI offers better education and a more comfortable zone for children. In terms of tuition fees in Secondary education, both schools offer almost the same prices.

House to house endorsement- teachers from FUAMI visit in different houses in the area to promote the school.

Articulations- the principal conduct community advertisement within Magallanes.

Display of tarpaulins in school façade- the school displays tarpaulins of their offered educational services and students’ achievement through their outstanding learning.

PEOPLE Father Urios Academy of Magallanes Incorporated has a total of 18 employees. FUAMI has 2 security guards, 1 sanitary engineer, 2 preschool teachers and 14 high school teachers including the principal. When hiring teachers and staff, they find the good attitude and pleasing personality of applicants which is suitable for approachable employees. Hired teachers are graduate from colleges with good educational service. Pressured interviews from the principal are given to them measure their good communication skill, teaching skills, other capabilities and their different strategies are also given attention so that the teachers and staff will be able to give the best service to the students and parents.Then the school director, Rev. Fr. Msgr. Porfirio C. Colon, will decide with the recommendation of the principal whether or not to hire the applying teachers.

The requirements needed are namely - resume, application form, transcript of records (TOR), and certificates of achievements or trainings. The following are the monthly salaries of employees in FUAMI. •Teacher's Monthly Salary Php7, 500 (basic pay) + Php1500 (allowance) = Php9, 000.00 •Staff Members' Monthly Income Php7, 500 (basic pay) + Php700 (allowance) = Php8, 200.00 •Maintenance Monthly Income - Php7, 000.00 •Principal's Monthly Income - Php17, 500.00 All employees of FUAMI receive benefits from SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig, and from the Diocese of Butuan Educational System, Incorporated (DBES). PROCESSES FUAMI offers educational services in ways of teaching students in the field of academe, skills, and religion within classes’ hours. In preschool, Kinder 1 class starts at 9 am and end by 11 am in the morning. Kinder 2 classes’ hours are in between 1-3 pm. Junior High School starts their classes’ hours as early as 7 am and end by 5 in the afternoon. Senior High School classes have different schedules due to different subjects and trainings per course. FUAMI includes Christian Living Education (CLE) as part of their academic subjects.

PHYSICAL EVIDENCE As part of the services to the students and parents and an endorsement to potential customers, the school maintains the cleanliness of the school premises from the building to the school ground. The school displays the best courses offered and the outstanding NC II passers from FUAMI. The staff also show themselves as professionals wearing appropriate dress code, make up and proper personal hygiene.
