Mission: My ultimate mission is to positively impact the lives of people I meet. Desired Job: I want to work as a financial analyst. As a financial analyst, my job will be to guide the companies' investment decisions, analyze current and past financial data and identify trends in financial performance. For performing at this job properly, I need to have excellent time management skills to meet deadlines, excellent presentation skills to be comfortable interacting with executive-level management and quantitative analysis skill to assess financial projects and evaluate investment proposals. Target markets: I want to target markets which are large, has a progressive corporate culture and is preferably an auto insurance company. Moreover, I want to work in a large progressive company because the size of the company will reflect more leadership and organization. Also, the progressive environment will boost my confidence and empower me both professionally and personally. Companies that fit this requirements are GEICO, Progressive, USAA, Farmers and Travelers. Positioning strategy: I want the company to recognize my leadership skills and the confidence I show in decision-making which further helps me to work effectively under pressure. Positioning statement: To progressive companies who need effective financial guidance, I am an economics major graduate from Western Michigan University that can provide exceptional leadership and effective decision making as a financial analyst. Marketing mix A. Product 1. Financial Analyst Summer Intern at Avalon Bay: As an intern here, I conducted detailed analysis of financial data. This helped me to develop both quantitative and presentation skills which will help me understand complex financial issues better and be more convincing to my client. 2. Member of the Western Michigan basketball girls’ team: As a basketball player, I took part in the Stetson tournament which helped me gain the skill of teamwork that will further help me to work successfully during group projects. 3. President of Economics Club: As the president, I organized four events where guest speakers spoke about careers in economics and I also managed the club’s weekly meetings. This helped me to hone my leadership skills which will help me to communicate clearly and remain organized in my workplace. 4. Volunteer Teacher at ‘JAAGO Foundation’ in Bangladesh: As a teacher, I taught English to needy and unfortunate children for free and that helped me to become more appreciative and enduring. It will help me to stay patient during pressure and be accepting of people in my professional life. 5. Treasurer of Bangladeshi Student Association at Western Michigan University: As a treasurer I have overseen club finances and submitted the annual financial report yearly so I have gained an experience in dealing with large sums of money which will help me acquire methodical way of thinking.

While setting up an account here is free of cost, this will be a cheap yet precise way to present my information to the employers. 2. Career fairs at Western Michigan University: I will attend career fair events which will be a great opportunity to get access to free workshops and seminars. This is again mostly free and will help to network with potential employers and even get my resume checked. 3. Using flyer: I will place flyer around town so that employers can read them. This will cost around $30$50 dollars. So, this tactic is cost-effective and also creates a personal touch to my message which can attract employers. 4. Business cards: I want to make my own business cards which will have my information on it that I can provide to different employers. This would cost around $80-$100 dollars and although might be a bit expensive, its small size makes it convenient and can be versatile in terms of what information one puts in.
