Mimic Pro Reflection: Kent‘s Camera Castle Sigurjón Gíslason, kt. 110296-2159

Round 1: The keywords I chose for the first round were the following: GoPro, GoPro camera, GoPro Hero 7, GoPro hero, buy GoPro Hero 7, and 4k camera. I chose these keywords after reading the instructions carefully. In short, I wanted to stick to the best-selling product of the three to keep it simple and to have some real numbers to show to Kent's management team. Now for creating the ad campaign,n I wanted to use everything in the budget, $5.00,0, as the money not spent on this campaign won't be available in the following rounds. The final decision on my first Ad Campaign for Kent's Camera Castle:

Email preview of the Ad Campaign for Kent's Camera Castle:

In the end, I needed to take a bit of the expense budget for search and allocate it to the email campaign. Overall I feel like the ad campaigns went very well!

Round 2: Happy with the round, I made some amendments and new ads which did well. I am currently scoring well above the average for the class in revenue, profits, ROI, and reach. Round 3: My worst round so far. I tried going a bit bold with the chosen keywords and the price of each click. I Will try to amend the keywords for the next rounds and see if that helps. Profits are still good, though. Round 4: This round went well. I changed a few details in the landing pages and some bids for the keywords that made the best ROI. The ROI is not as good as I wanted it to be, though, but other things went well, and I was well above average in the class in all other features. Round 5: The email campaign went well and was above the class average. Everything else didn't go as planned, so I will be looking at keyword bids and other aspects that could have gone better. I think that I put the bids too high this round.

Round 6: It went well, but I need a new strategy for the products I had for the ad campaigns—looking forward to trying new ideas in the next simulation round. Round 7: The worst round by far not sure what went wrong but trying to figure it out while looking at new opportunities. For some reason, two campaigns went on pause, but I didn't put them on pause – this might have had these terrible effects on my ROI. Round 8: One more try with the GoPro went well at the beginning of my simulation journey.

As you can see below, it went well, but I am still spending too little of the budget on the rounds.

Round 9: I made some amendments with the help of a Youtube video I found on how to use sem rush to your advantage. Happy with the results. Round 10: Last and final round! Tried a cyber Monday headline just for fun. All in all a cool experience!

Thank you for a great semester Gabríela! ...
