Multiple Pages with Spark Page

Webpages typically have two kinds of interactivity:

Links to additional pages on the site, like About or Contact Links to external websites Adobe Spark Page is limited to a single scrolling page. While it has some interesting design features, you may not want your viewers to scroll forever to get to additional content.

In that case, you want to add a button that will link to another webpage. It's important to realize that each page you create with Spark Page is its own website. When you add a button, you'll need a link to whatever site you want your viewer to visit.

Adding a button in Spark Page

Adding a button is easy. Simply click on one of the plus signs where you want your button to be in your page and select the button icon.

Adding buttons for interactivity (3 minutes)

Buttons will allow the visitor to jump away from your webpage, but, unless you also created that other webpage with its own navigation buttons, you won't have a way to get back to your original page or site unless you use the Back button in your browser.

If, however, you created the other webpage, you can simply put a button on that webpage to jump back to the original site. This is, actually, the way any website works, except the separate pages are all part of one larger site, sharing the same navigation.

Drop-down navigation, accessible from any page

As noted earlier, if you're looking to create a complex website, Adobe Spark is probably not the right tool. If you only need a few pages (like an About or Contact page), Adobe Portfolio may work well for you.

We can expect Adobe to continue to add new features to the entire Spark product line (Adobe Spark Post and Video are also unique, one-purpose software tools) and your faculty member will explain any new components in Spark Page that you might find useful in creating your assignments and other webpages or that differ from the directions in this course during the Live Classroom sessions....
