Selection Committee GCRAbursary 17 Simmonds Street Marshaltown Johannesburg, 2000 Dear Sir/Madam I am writing this letter to express my situation for availing the bursary aid for my undergraduate studies.

Every time I plan on deciding whether to apply or not for the University studies the factor that pulls me back is affordability of the undergraduate studies. I was raised by a single parent who supported me and my siblings during schooling and was determined to provide us with education that was not easily accessible to her because of the difficult circumstances. She unfortunately passed away during my high school days and I had to take care of my siblings. Thanks to my determination and hard work, I managed to get a job after matric that enabled me to take care of the needs of my siblings which I lost a year ago. In these circumstances without this bursary aid my dream of studying in the renowned university in Cape Town will remain a dream. My family is not in the position to fund my studies. Since I am not in the position to pay the registration and first instalment fee, my enrolment is still pending, even though I have been accepted for Undergraduate studies (Bachelor) in LLB law. I really wish to get the bursary aid through which I will have the chance to study in an excellent University and pave the road to my future career and accomplishment of my life goals. Being accepted at such a prestigious university, I perceive as an extraordinary chance to interact with students and scholars from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds coming from all the world. At the end I would like to point out that I am determined to make the most out of the bursary aid. I believe that being a student in prestigious University would not only empower my career development but would give me tools to utilize my full potential. I am grateful for considering my application and I look forward to a favourable reply.

Sincerely,

Kagiso Hlongwane...
