This is especially necessary because the process of teaching children is both rewarding and challenging. Educators who deal with kids are given the opportunity to shape the lives of children. However, there is the possibility of causing harm to kids. NAEYC ethical guidelines revolve around the responsibility of teachers to children, and all stakeholders involved, constituting, colleagues, society, and parents. The paper analyzes the four sets of commitment detailed in NAEYC and how they resonate with personal abilities. The first set of commitment entails ethical responsibility to children.
