Description

Natalie Ong VCE SUBJECTS VCE consists of completing 5 to 6 Unit ¾ subjects depending on your situation. All of these results will eventually become your ATAR (your VCE score) and you’ll get your VCE certificate once you’ve completely all exams and sacs for these. In your case, you’re travelling a lot and you need to do many things for your career and studies right? So personally I think that doing 2 subjects this year, while doing your singing career is a smart choice. This would mean that you’re going to complete 2 Unit ½ s this year. Meaning that you will do Unit ¾ English and math next year, along with other unit 1/2s such as business management, etc. Of course unless you want to retake it again, which would cost you more money and effort – for repeating the year. So that means if everything goes well this year, next year you will take     

Unit ¾ English Unit ¾ Math Unit ½ Business Management Unit ½ Health and Human Development Unit ½ Media

But that means you will have to take a 3rd year of VCE to complete Unit ¾ Business Management, Unit ¾ Health and Human Development, and Unit ¾ Media PAYMENT 2 unit ½ subjects – 2017 2 unit ¾ subjects – 2018 3 unit ½ subjects – 2018 3 unit ¾ subjects – 2019 This means that if you do 2 unit ½ subjects this year, you will have to start 3 other unit ½ subjects next year, meaning that it will take you 3 years to actually complete all 5 subjects. This would mean that you would have to pay for 3 years. For e.g. If I asked you to teach me singing, and the course of singing is 2 years. But I’m a potato and I’ll take longer, so I ask you to teach me for 3 years so I get time and I won’t be too stressed right? So that would mean instead of charging me for 2 years of your time and effort, you would charge me 3 years of your time and effort – like I requested. So like, they’ll definitely charge you for the extra year because they’re not going to give up their time and effort for free. As a lot of old people in business say “Time is Money” :P OVERALL So basically, what I wanted to ask the person was 

Since Natalie will take approximately 3 years to complete her course due to misunderstanding and her own personal issues, by how much will the costs increase compared to 2 years charge

Natalie put Unit ¾ Health and Human Development down for this year’s course, but your company messed the order up and made her have to wait an extra year. I understand the problem with the SACS but you guys should have taken initiative to communicate with her as she is your client and she is paying you for your services – coz you deserve all the right in the world, coz you’re the one that’s paying. So basically to point out their mistakes and negotiate how they can make up for this mistake. Will Natalie be limited to time throughout her VCE, as she is taking 3 years, will your company be able to be flexible with her time, as she will be travelling at unexpected times. How will you timetable your unit ½ and ¾ SACS to match her time – as I know through a med certificate or a special reason you can postpone or make the sacs earlier? Will Natalie be stuck in the normal school routine – summer holidays no school, term breaks no school, public holidays no school. Or due to her personal reasons, she will fit a different timetable? – Basically asking whether you’ll have school on holidays and how your education will be sorted out. Regarding SEAS application, it opens every year at August, this is for people that have special needs such as – split parents, financial issues, personal reasons (such as yours where you need to travel at unexpected times) or whatever that pushes you back from studying “normally” like other students. This will make the examiners mark more leniently and kindly - basically pull the criteria down for you so you can get a higher mark....
