On behalf of the Irvine Ranch Water District, we are sorry that you have been unable to reach us. We have received your claim on promised discounts by Summer Pools. And we are happy to assist you in any way possible. Back in 2017, Summer Pools of Mission Viejo and our Irvine Ranch Water District had a working partnership on pool sales and water discounts to boost sales revenue during down seasons. Unfortunately, the partnership ended when we realized discounts were being given out to majority of their sales other than those of pools. As of right now, we do not give out any more discounts, regardless of the products purchased. In order to protect all of our customers’ rights, we now have a new policy on our water pricing and discounts. This old partnership may be the reason of this misinformation and misunderstanding. Instead of giving you the discounts we no longer have, I am happy to help you look for a different water plan or alternative saving options that would help lower your monthly water bill. Again, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience and misunderstanding. We value you as an important customer, Mr. Shadburn-Butler, and to the business we have together. I hope the information helps clear out some misunderstanding between businesses. As we move forward, the Irvine Ranch Water District continues our best to meet the needs of our valued customer.
