To: John From: Seema Subject: Writing Effectively to a Professor Hello; Why is communicating with the loved ones and friends so easy? And why is communicating with the teachers and mentors so difficult? These questions arise in every mind whenever we try to communicate it with the professor. Actually, communication is not difficult, it’s just the tone and the message should be valued because this explains our professional character to them. When writing to a teacher or professor, there are certain things that we have to keep in mind while writing. The effectiveness is necessary because this is the only way where we showcase ourselves in front of our teacher. Also, the language and the tone describe what we think about the person and what the value of the person in our life is. Also, long paragraphs will not justify anything; therefore the message written should be clear and concise. More effective and short is the message, more easily it will be understood will be taken into consideration. The words will also describe out intelligence and smartness as well. Effective writing is important because we have to maintain the discipline and decorum of the relationship we have. Also while writing we have to make sure we have maintained that dignity and respect of the person we are writing to. Effective writing will also define what our intentions are?
