We know that using netiquette online is important, but why? In answering the question above, netiquette is very important since it enables us to learn on how to communicate to others in a respectful manner and as online students from different backgrounds and cultures, we must always avoid the use of deleterious words while responding to both our instructor and peers. As we all know that the internet has now taken the lead concerning bad netiquette, but it’s very important to understand the outcome of bad response to others because can cause a lot of confusion to others.

What are the consequences of bad netiquette in the classroom? Bad netiquette in the classroom can cause confusion, hardships, hurt, racism, and violation of others' peace. All these will decrease the motivation and be a source of misunderstanding to students. In the end, a toxic environment will be created and learning will become difficulty to other students since a collaborative environment has been restricted, it becomes hard in giving and receiving feedback to one another effectively. When taking In one of my short courses, I was in a class where netiquette is not important this was because the class was mixed with different kinds of students from different cultures with different sorts of bad manners and you could tell this through the words they used when responding and communicating to both their mentors and classmates without any respect. Some students could not handle the stress and abusive language, so they ended up quitting. Others did not perform to their full expectations because the class wasn’t friendly at any point. Me as one of the students I felt very bad for what was happening until when the administrator suspended all those who made the class uncomfortable but they were not aware that they had been violating and demotivated many of their peers in the classroom until this day come them. So this made me understand that we must treat ours the same way want to be treated.

How does netiquette relate to peer assessment? Why is it important to use good manners when leaving feedback? Peer assessment is the process by which a student assesses another student’s work which involves grading, giving feedback, and receiving, According to (University of the people, n.d.). Online learning is also a source for sharing information, wisdom, and support as well as for building a vibrant, international network. But without good manners, none of this can be achieved. Online netiquette is key to any student at Uopeople by using good communication when reviewing and grading your fellow classmate’s work. Feedback is used as learning too between students at the UoPeople and this act of exchanging knowledge through feedback must be in a professional way because one

has to learn from one's feedback and using respectful and motivating words is key. This will help students feel recognized and welcomed which will boost their mood of learning.

How do you feel about the feedback you received this week? What about the feedback you gave? I feel good about the feedback I received. It gave me motivation and pushes me to make research to improve my grades and learning experience. The feedback I gave were out of honesty and fair I gave my peers examples to help them to improve their grades.
