Melissa wgu biochem videos ...

Description

Hello,

Please keep in mind that the Biochemistry course materials changed as of September 30. There are some “extra” videos no longer in the course that students like to share (such as the “Melissa Videos” and the “Rachel Videos”), but these were all produced before the course change. They aren’t relevant anymore and may actually make it more difficult to turn Biochem green! They also contain information that is protected under FERPA and should not be distributed. Furthermore, the Terms of Use for Learning and Assessment Materials apply. Here is the great thing: Now all the videos and practice questions you need are built right into the course. The course material now has many more videos – around 100! Additionally, students who go to the live events and make appointments with course instructors have higher success rates! Remember: Anything shared by students that is from before September 30 may not be applicable anymore. Be cautious using resources referred from other students or Facebook. I highly recommend attending our live events! You do not need to sign up to attend – simply navigate to our WGU Biochemistry Calendar, click on the event you would like to attend, and follow the instructions in the pop-up. Our data shows that students that actually attend the live events have improved performance, but the students that watch the recordings of live events do not demonstrate this performance improvement. Please note that your first and main resource should be on the online Course Materials, including the Essential Reading, Videos, Podcasts, Learning Checks, and Unit Quizzes. The videos and live events do not cover all the content you need to know to be successful in Biochemistry. Here are the links to the current pre-recorded cohorts. They do not contain all the information you need to reach competency, so don’t forget to reference the course materials as well and attend live events when you can: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
