COURSE DESCRIPTION

Peace and Global Education as a course deals with the study of values and its development. Generally, it emphasizes on the concepts of universal peace understanding the core Filipino values which are essential in the promotion of peace. It highlights human security and its development as an approach to peace building and conflict transformation that would lead students to a paradigm shift on the concept of peace as a mere absence of war to attaining fundamental human need, human security and development as the gateway to sustainable peace.
