Summary In note 6 it teaches the student how to write a case exam. It shows us how to prepare, take, and read the case exam. The note explains that when preparing for a case exam it is different from other tests because it's harder to study in a way where you have to know the concepts and theories. Along with these concepts and theories you have to apply when writing your case exam. It also suggests how to manage time when taking a case exam as you will need to use your time wisely. It tells us to use 45 mins to read the case, then formulate an outline, and finally write to the best of your ability. Note 6 also says to practice writing case exam simulations. Set a timer for 3 hours and bring up a case study and treat it like a case exam. When writing the case exam to ensure you're on the right track make sure to read the instructions carefully. Also make sure to put yourself in the position of where you're writing a case exam too. Examples: the board of directors, or even your colleague. Analysis When reading the case study, what I thought was essential was preparing for the case exam. Although it isn’t like a normal test you can still practice it by doing other case studies and treating them like case exams. I feel like it's actually doing something that will help on the exam because it would help your organizational skill along with your analysis. I feel like this whole case exam is preparing us for a real world experience and helping us analyze what decision we should make for the company that we work for.
