Review Alcohol Withdrawal *** Antabuse for withdrawal (if they drink on this med it will make them EXTREMELY sick)
Calling code is cardiac/respiratory distress – calling rapid response is to prevent the code from happening
Histamine – causes massive vasodialation & smooth muscle constriction, know what antihistamines do
Steriods – increase blood sugar, hang on to fluid (increases blood pressure), decreases inflammation
Acute kidney injuries (pre, intra, post) Pre: blood not getting to kidney ; intra: die from heart cath, vancomycin (something that harms the glomerulous) ; Post: tumor, kidney stones
Test 4 – know rates from strips & drugs that go with it

Renal failure – acute vs chronic – what labs ; NA, BUN, creatine, ect.. diets
Acute kidney injury – pre, intra, post – know difference
Dialysis – hemo, crrt (don’t get way into), peritoneal (main side effect infection,

Anemia – look at foods, be able to think outside the box like how does the blood help
