BEFORE STARTING THE EXAMINATION, READ THE FOLLOWING: 1.

Complete the above section and likewise on the scantron sheet. On the scantron sheet, be sure to fill in your NAME and bubble code your STUDENT NUMBER and EXAM CODE (from upper-right corner of this page). You do not need to enter your lecture section.

Verify that your exam desk contains 1 exam booklet (with 12 pages total, including 2 pages for scrap work and a 2-page equation sheet at the back) plus 1 scantron sheet.

3.

The exam consists of 31 multiple-choice questions. You must enter your answers on the scantron sheet provided within the exam period; no additional time will be provided at the end to fill in the scantron.

4.

Use an HB pencil to fill out the scantron sheet. Ink and other pencils do not work – your answer will be invisible to the reader.

5.

An equation sheet is provided on the last page and may be removed from this booklet. All exam pages must be returned at the end of the exam.

6.

Closed-book exam: you may NOT have any notes or sheets with you during the examination other than the scantron sheet and the exam booklet provided.

7.

No personal electronics (e.g., computers, cell phones, smart watches) may be accessible to you or used in any way during the test, or this may be deemed cheating and warrant a zero on the exam. Turn off all electronics and leave them with your personal belongings under your seat. There will be a clock on the wall for monitoring time.

When you finish your exam, raise your hand for your exam to be collected. If you finish before the first 2h:45m and your exam has been collected, you may quietly collect your belongings and leave the room. If you finish in the last 15 min., raise your hand for your exam to be collected, but remain seated; past this point, no persons may leave until all remaining exams have been collected.
