The Peaceful Warrior starring Nick Nolte and Scott Mechlowicz features an impactful meaning by the end of the film. This film is based on a true story, based on the book “Way of the Peaceful Warrior” by Dan Millman. I for one do not like to recommend religious movies to others because some people think that is a sensitive topic, but Peaceful Warrior is a movie for all to watch; it is an influential movie taking you through Scott Mechlowics’ (Dan Millman) journey. This film offers a heartening and inspirational experience that takes you through a passage which one has not taken before making you think differently and open ones heart to different things. Although “Peaceful Warrior” is a reflective film, it lacks the need of action and romance, but has an abundance of comprehension and spiritual effectiveness. There is a repetitive theme in this film, to turn off the conscious mind and to submerge into your subconscious where one can find all the hidden responses. Another theme which is quite as important is to find the way to keep on striving for what you believe in even when you might stumble and fall and everything does not go as expected. This film affected me in a positive way, to think of life as a test to see how strong you turn out to be. Life is filled with obstacles and unexpected decisions, it is our job to make the best out of every situation or try to find a solution to it. There are various amounts of themes during the entire movie, one which grabbed my attention was a warrior acts; only a fool reacts. This theme is quite impacting how the bigger person acts the right way and tries to cope with the circumstances and a fool will react and probably make a big deal about something which can be fixed differently. In addition, the spiritual encountering in this film is done when Dan tries to find himself and control his actions in order to become better. He soon learns through lessons and a spiritual experience. This film teaches on to learn how to appreciate the moments you live, to see life as a voyage to a meaningful and substantial more than just an accomplishment. This film has a lot of meaning which is said and done as well as spiritual meaning, which touches you in an indescribable way. It made me feel at peace, although the genre is essential drama. I felt at peace coming to an understanding how one can go through obstacles that might change their life completely or just merge their route. Before many would give up on their dreams but now, many see it as a push to not stop, not even once you finally have what you wanted. Once you finally achieved your goal you might want to take a break for a little but then realize you want more, you want better, you need it. If you fought so much for one goal and achieved it you are capable of anything else. To conclude, The Peaceful Warrior has made me feel as one, it touched my spirit and inspired me to not just give up or stop once a goal is accomplished. It might be hard and rough but at the end of the day you were trying to prove something not to anyone but yourself, that you are capable of greatness....
