Fatmawati No. 24, Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia E-mail: [email protected] , [email protected] Abstrak Seiring perkembangan zaman yang mengharuskan bidang pendidikan mengikuti teknologi untuk memaksimalkan kinerjanya, banyak hal yang dapat dikembangkan pihak sekolah, salah satu masalah yang kerap dijumpai adalah kontrol terhadap siswa-siswa yang kerap membolos sekolah, inilah melatar belakangi penulis untuk membuat rancangan Sistem Informasi Absensi Siswa pada SMK Wira Buana 1 Bogor, Sistem Informasi Absensi Siswa pada SMK Wira Buana 1 Bogor ini akan menjadi sebuah terobosan baru yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja sekolah dan kontrol kepada siswa-siswa sehingga dapat menekan angka siswa yang membolos, dengan adanya sistem pelaporan secara langsung kepada Orangtua siswa melalui teknologi SMS dan Email, memungkinkan pengawasan yang lebih ketat kepada siswa baik oleh pihak Sekolah maupun Orangtua, selain itu pula sistem yang sepenuhnya sudah digital ini sangat hemat biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk kertas pada absensi manual serta memudahkan pihak guru untuk membuat laporan atau rekapitulasi absensi siswa, dan dengan mengandalkan teknologi berbasis web yang digunakan pada sistem informasi absensi siswa membuat sistem ini dapat diakses dimana saja dengan perangkat modern apapun yang telah terhubung internet oleh pihak guru. In this modern era the education department is needs to follow the technology to maximize performance, many things can developed for education department, one of the problems frequently encountered is the student control, who often skipped the class, this is the background for the author to create the design of Web-based Information Systems Student Attendance on SMK Wira Buana 1 Bogor, Information systems student Attendance at SMK Wira Buana 1 Bogor would be a breakthrough that could improve school performance and control to students to reduce the number of students who have skip the classes, with the real-time reporting system directly to the Parents with SMS technology and Email, allowing for closer scrutiny to students both by the school and the parents, the system also fully digital is cut the cost for paper printing in manual attendance and enable the teacher to make a report or student attendance recapitulation faster, by relying on web-based technology that is used on student attendance information system makes this system can be accessed anywhere with any modern device that has been connected to the internet by the teacher.
