Fracking and Offshore drilling can have tons of negative effects. It causes damages to the environment, it has many health risks for those who are near it, as wells as noise and visual pollution. Body Main idea # 1--Topic Sentence—include the first main idea from your thesis as well as your claim (Since this is an extended essay, each main idea may need to be developed into more than one paragraph. If you use more than one support paragraph for a main idea, be sure to include a transitional word or phrase that links the reader back to the initial topic sentence idea in order to create stronger unity and coherence.) The authors conducted a study and survey. They sent 23,700 surveys out by mail for the people of the Geisinger Clinic located near a fracking site. Of those sent out the got a response from 7,785. Of those who responded 24% had current chronic rhinosinusitis, 23% suffered from migraine headaches, and 25% had higher levels of fatigue since the fracking and oil drilling started c. Fracking has a lot of negatives that come with it. Its harmful to the environment, it can hurt the health of those around it, and it is visually and audibly unpleasant.
