1.0 Important Placement Regulations 

In addition to modular assessments, students are required to undertake an 80 hour work-based learning placement. Students are expected to source a placement within their programme of study / career aspirations and are advised to discuss any matters relating to this with their programme team lead.



Students are not permitted to start a placement until they have a fully completed MetHub Workflow and have received a Placement Confirmation email from Hannah Griffiths (Placement Officer).



Students are required to keep a detailed Placement Logbook (see sections 4.0 and 5.0 below), throughout their placement which must be signed and verified by both the Student and the Placement Supervisor at the end of the placement. If you have completed x1 80 hour placement, please complete Placement Logbook - Placement A only. If you have completed x2 40 hour placements, please complete Placement Logbooks A and B.
