Description

Being President of the United States comes with many duties and responsibilities, some of which most people don’t understand/know about. One of the most important responsibilities for the POTUS is being Chief Executive, who’s name stems from the President’s powers given to them by the Constitution. Whomever has the title of Chief Executive can implement policies, and run/supervise the Executive Branch of the government (sign treaties, issue executive orders, Appoint officials, etc.). The next, but just as important, thing that the POTUS is responsible for is being the Commander-in-Chief. With this title, the President is in charge of the entire nation’s military forces. While this title is almost self-explanatory, it is handled differently by all Presidents of the United States. In some instances, like those of Abraham Lincoln, people thought of as great strategists and day-to-day operators. On the other hand, with Presidents like Woodrow Wilson, some would say were not too involved with the nation’s armed forces, and put their focus into different things in the time of need. Last but most certainly not least, the President will be responsible for being Head of State. Simply put, whoever is in office at the time is in charge of the state and being head of the government. With this title, you are representing unity and integrity to all the states in your country. They would be in charge of legalizing states, and exercising their political power and duties as written in the Constitution....
