Linda Longmire GS 108 11.25.2019 Pray the devil back to Hell: Reflection The documentary “Pray the Devil Back to Hell” is about how Liberia got damaged by a dictator. Pray the Devil back to hell signifies a group of women who try to get the dictator from being in power out. They continuously rebel and want to have a war with the dictator because their husbands are always at war with each other. The women and Liberia made a union which allowed them to fight for justice in their country. The women began with getting as much people involved with the movement as possible. It wasn’t an easy process because Liberia was war with each other, so women had to unite and fight against the violence that was occurring Liberia. The strategy that the women used and what really made this whole movement work was determination and unity because the women worked together to fight for what was right in society. They never gave up even when times get super tough they knew what they wanted to accomplish and to do so meant to sacrifice so much. They went as far as not providing their husbands with sex for as long the war kept on taking place because they thought that would be a great strategy to get the men to listen. When challenges came, the women found a way to overcome those challenges. All the strategies that they used in a kind of way to help to get more people involved and help to terminate the dictatorship in Liberia. Overall I believe that the power of Unity is what helps people in time of hardship it becomes a very difficult when no one supports you. The women would have never succeeded

had it not been for their determination and sacrifice to the cause. If everyone can contribute a little bit to a cause the world would be a better place than it is now. If everybody where to unite and fight against the injustices on the planet we can create a world full of justice and ensure that the right people take power over the people not tyrants who do not care about the well-being of it’s people....
