Teacher leadership is critical for really helping a school building build their capacity to increase student learning and student achievement and not only what that teacher does inside that school building but how that teacher leader works with the larger community to drive engagement and support for school goals

2.As a future teacher, how will you make yourself a leader in your own right? Teacher leaders are teachers that show a strong work ethic, a love for children, and most of all, a propensity to evolve and learn. They are constantly tweaking lessons even during a school day in order to ensure that they have given their best effort for every student that steps foot in their classroom. Teacher leaders see a problem and work tirelessly with others to devise solutions. Teacher leaders are people that others trust.

3.How do you think schools should support teachers to become leaders? Some teachers with great potential lack the confidence or skills to become successful leaders. Encouragement to make a presentation or head up a curriculum committee can help these teachers to become leaders. They also need to be encouraged to acquire research-based information that can guide them at the helm. 4.Do you think that the present educational system support the development of teacher leaders? If yes, why? If no, why not? Yes, because there is also a support for the development of teacher leaders since in order for teachers to be effective leaders, they need principals to support them; place them in leadership positions that match their skills, talents, and personality traits; and give them opportunities for professional development so that they can increase their efficacy....
