CHAPTER I: David (a young man who lost his father and mother), was preparing to leave his village with the help of a priest, who gave him a letter that his mother left when he died. David went to the city of Edinburgh, where he was a relative of his. In Edinburgh was Ebenezer Balfour, who was his uncle. Uncle and nephew had a small mishap of distrust.

CHAPTER II: David asked questions about father (older brother of his uncle) to Ebenezer, and they had another discussion. David thought his uncle was hiding some secret. He spent a moment and his uncle sent him to find a large chest, but on the way David realized it was a trap. I walk down broken stairs, and then it was with his uncle angry. He spent some time and went out, and he heard rumors that his uncle had killed his father, and he thought he wanted to do the same with him. He was looking at the sea and felt a blow to the head.

CHAPTER III: When David awoke, he was bound by boat with the sailors. The captain told him that his uncle and he agreed to sell David as a slave. Death events arose, I hit a small boat and rescued a man, who would be a new friend of David. That person was Alan. Both were preparing to fight with the sailors and the captain.

CHAPTER IV: There was a fight between Alan and David against the sailors, I did not know the end. Then there was a truce between both sides.

CHAPTER V: There was an ormenta and it shook the ship, alan and david fell and went away in the sea. David swam and arrived on an island, there he was sad and tired. After three days I appreciate a boat, it was from a fisherman and I had been sent by Alan. With the help of a blind man they went to torosay.ahi was Alan.

CHAPTER VI: David is in torosay, looking at a ship bound for the United States. Suddenly he approached a person and asked if he had an answer, and he answered yes. Then he said he was going to the hills, there Alan was waiting for him. When they reached the hill, David sat down and the king's guards appeared, asking if he had seen some fugitives. Suddenly they killed

Campbell, the guard who asked him and started the escape. David got into the bushes and there he found Alan. David was angry with Alan, Alan said he had nothing to do with the death of that Campbell.

CHAPTER VII: Alan told his story to David, as they walked towards Alan's cousin's house. When he arrived whistled and left James, cousin of Alan. James was afraid, then introduced his wife and children. They talked about the death of Campbell and that Alan and David were in danger. The soldiers were looking for both. They escaped to the hills and the hill, there dawned. The next day they learned that they arrested James.

CHAPTER VIII: Alan and David left for a mountain range. The day was hot and at noon they both lay down under a bush. They took turns to rest, but David could not stand it and fell asleep. When he woke up, he realized that the soldiers were coming. and they had to sneak away and get away. Then they came to a house in Cluny Macpherson, with whom they played cards.

CHAPTER IX: A friend from Cluny, took Alan and David to a shelter, hiding place. David was angry with Alan. For putting him in this situation. Alan apologized and said he was sorry about this. Alan told him he would help him get his house back, where his uncle lived. So they went to a lawyer. David came up with a great idea to have evidence against his uncle.

CHAPTER X: David and the lawyer went to his uncle's house. Alan went to the door and talked to Ebenezer about David's fall on the ship. And there he discovered that Ebenezer wanted to kill his nephew. He asked Alan how much he charged for killing David. So tubierkn evidence for the court. The next morning both friends said goodbye, and David felt a sense that they would meet in the future. Surely there would be more adventures for both....
