2. "Which is better, it is better to serve the country peacefully rather than to fight against the enemy but in the end the entire nations will still suffer?" The question above is quite tricky since we are talking about here regarding our nation. Based on my own perspective, I agree with the phrase “fight against the enemy“ because as we remember way back Dr. Rizal was alive, he uses his ability in writing to awaken the Filipino’s from reality that made Philippines obtained the “freedom” that each Filipinos wants and being able to be free of being slaved from Spaniards. So, let’s ask ourselves with this; what if Rizal did not use his ability in writing and instead he serve and ally with the Spaniard in order to have peace and prevent from war and conflict, what would you think of the Philippines right now? If that’s the case probably we don’t have the freedom right now or maybe we are still suffering from the wrath of the Spaniards. So that’s why I agree to fight against the enemy because that’s the way we can change the fate of our nation even though it is hard and complicated but we can assure in the near future our nation has a better and progress future. Choosing to serve the country but will still suffer is a stupid and cowardly act because thinking that you are serving but seeing your countrymen still suffering is the most painful and heartbreaking moment because I believe to this quote “Inaction breeds doubt and fear but action breads confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it rather go out and get busy”. This quote tells us that it is best to face our fears in early/present time rather in late because facing it in present times helps us in obtaining a better and a progress future for the next generation to come. And that what Rizal did before, He sacrifices everything because he knows that in the near future it would be a worthwhile. So in short, it is better to fight against the enemy and suffer because choosing it is like throwing a stone and killing two birds (which is the conflict and suffer) though it’s hard to attain but it’s more proudly to hear that even though we are suffering at least we did our very best to fight rather than watching our nation suffers....
