Rubric for EFC 350 ...
EFC 350 Classroom Management Final Exam Presentation Criteria The final exam will be a presentation with a partner in which you will perform a role playing exercise in front of the class and submit an individual written reflection. The presentation will include the following components: 1. Each student will be given a different scenario ahead of time to practice with your partner, and you will take turns as the student and the teacher. Each role play should be about 5 mins. in length. You should make it as realistic as possible by including props or any other materials. Note: You will only be graded in the teacher role. 2. Each role play must effectively and clearly model some of the ideas of 2 theorists you have learned about in this course. Each student will choose the theorist you want to model when you are assigned your scenario. You will explain to the class how you demonstrated each theorist’s ideas and why you chose them at the end of your role play. 3. You will bring a hard copy of the rubric attached to a 1-2-page, single-spaced (double between components below) written summary of your presentation the day of the final. The summary will include the following components: a. A description of your given scenario b. Description of strategies and interventions you modeled in the role play c. How/why they effectively represented the theorists you modeled in the role play d. A reflection of your learning process and application to your classroom. e. Please cite Charles and/or Wong in text and at the end of the summary. 4. Grades will be posted in Blackboard, and the rubric will be available for you to pick up with your Artifact in the instructor’s office after final exam week.
