Comm ents: Is this a valid sourc e? What leads you to that conclu sion?

Article from Site #3 I think that it is a decent source, but that I could probably find a better one if needed.

Article from Site #6 Your Selected Science Daily Article I struggled with finding out This article is very is very informative what this article was and seems to be credible. supposed to be saying. The layout was confusing as well. I would be able to locate a better source.

Questions

Which of your two chosen resources (from Site #3 and Site #6) would you consider to be more valid? Explain your choice. I would think that the article from site #3 to be the more credible between the two, but only because its author was clearly shown as was the publication date. The layout was easy to follow and it had many links for things included as well in the article that were related. The only things that I found that made this specific article a little but unreliable would probably be the style they wrote it in and also all the ads included in the article that definitely showed bias. Briefly summarize (in 1 to 2 paragraphs) the natural science topic featured in your chosen Science Daily news story. The article I chose was about how scientists were trying to figure out the link between obesity and sleep by using worms. It has been previously determined that obesity is the result of having no energy to do things which results in people gaining weight. What these people are doing is using worms for their experiments by regulating their fat stores to see how it affects their sleep cycles.

How would you go about finding more information on the topic that you chose from Science Daily? List at least two different sources that you would consider reliable. I would first research this topic a bit more and see if there have been any more discoveries that further the cause to progress this experience further. If there have or have not been I would progress by finding sources that support either outcome. Two sources that I consider credible would be the following:

 

https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/sleep/ https://journals.lww.com/mdjournal/fulltext/2019/11150/assessment_of_sleep_and_obesity_in_adults_and.9.aspx

Briefly explain why you think these are reliable sources of information to help you find out more about your Science Daily topic. I think that these are both reliable sources because they adequately relate to my topic choice and they also come from highly accredited sources. The only concern I have would be for the Harvard article, but only because I wasn’t exactly sure who the author was. In the other article everything seemed in order and still provided me with the information that would prove useful to my topic choice....
