TUSD Summer School Options 2021 This is a list of summer programs that TUSD students have used in previous years. There are many more programs out there. YOU MUST GO DIRECTLY TO THE WEBSITE TO REGISTER YOURSELF

● It is the responsibility of the student/parent to check if courses are WASC accredited, UC approved, and NCAA approved. Refer to individual websites for this information, as well as enrollment procedures ● Students are allowed to earn up to 40 credits for advancement from outside educational institutions, however, courses are limited to a maximum of 10 credits per academic discipline ● Students must submit a Summer School Correspondence Course Notification form to their counselor prior to taking outside courses ● Students must register themselves for any summer classes ● All courses have to be finished and official transcripts submitted to the Counseling Office by Registration Day (except courses taken with SBEA - counseling office will receive these grades directly from SBEA) SBEA- South Bay Enrichment Academy ● $575 – full year, $375 – one semester ● Traditional classroom setting (some online classes available) ● Many classes are A-G and NCAA approved ● Go to www.tef4kids.org to enroll and for summer school scholarship opportunities El Camino Community College--Dual Enrollment ● For steps for dual enrollment registration go to: https://sites.google.com/elcamino.edu/shs-ecc-resources/home?authuser=0 ● For questions or help with this process, click on contact ECC at the above link ● Placement is not guaranteed due to limited enrollment priority ● Courses are college level courses and grades earned become part of your permanent ECC record ONLINE PROGRAMS – Enrollment procedures & questions should be addressed directly to the online program.
