Yes this is a measurable goal. I will demonstrate effective skills for prevention of abuse in a workplace, once I am able to identify the signs that a client is at risk for abuse.

I will read at least 1 research journal a week for 4 weeks. With thorough research on prevention of abuse I will be able to develop at least one strategy I can do to prevent abuse.

This is applicable to my role and future practice, as these are skills or behaviours I will need to ensure I am following in my role as an RPN student, and future RPN. It also aligns with the professional standards document, that I prevent abuse when it is witnessed or observed.
