1. Some characteristics for children with ASD include delayed speech, retracted speech, odd sounds or tones presented, introverted, lack of engagement, limited joyful expressions 2. Treatment: a therapist could work on behavioral therapy with a child in the forms of play therapy, verbal therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and verbal behavior therapy all help children with ASD better function. 3. As I reflect on this experience of learning about ASD in children I realize how blind I was to this disorder. I now feel more informed on the subject and have a greater respect for those who have and work with children with this disorder....
