Setting: A small town in the 1900’s.

Main Conflict:

The main conflict is man vs. woman. Walter has conflict with his wife and he always tried to escape her by daydreaming. He also has conflict with society, man vs. society. He gets into fights with people of society which also causes him to daydream.

Inciting Incident:

“The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”

Walter daydreams for the first time when driving to town with his wife. He thinks he is a pilot flying through a storm. His wife tells him that he is driving way too fast.

The conflict is resolved Walter realizes that he can stand up to his wife. He won’t let her run his life ever again....
