Personal SWOT analysis Strengths What are you really good at? - Managing stress - Working under pressure - Concentration to details - Problem solving - Flexibility/going with the flow - Listening - Asking questions for clarification - Using initiative - Thinking logically What skills do other people recognise in you? - Hardworking - Leadership - Working with others - Using initiative What do you get recognised and praised for? - Determination once I’ve decided to do something - Being confident when in leadership position What about yourself are you most proud or satisfied with? - I’m proud of myself for taking on a degree whilst I still have two young babies at home - Learning a second language and becoming fluent - My teaching abilities What experiences, skills, and knowledge do you have that others may not have? - I have experience working in the care sector, which comes with a whole range of skills and knowledge such as handling medications, record keeping, communication skills, working with other organisations, personal care, patience - I have experience being a birth partner as well as being a labouring mother Opportunities In what ways can you maximise your strengths? - Having confidence in what I do will help a lot when faced with decisions that need to be made - Being able to manage my stress during my studies especially when deadlines are approaching will enable me to achieve the grades I’m capable of achieving What opportunities are open to you?

Weaknesses What are things you’re not so good at or need to improve on? - Planning - Time management - Focusing - Trying new things - Doing things I’m unsure about What do you try to do that you just can’t master? - Follow lists/to do lists - Prioritising - Not procrastinate What do you do only because you have to? - Reading-it isn’t my learning style, I don’t find it fun or motivating What aspects of your personality are holding you back? - Being a perfectionist - Getting myself motivated - Doing something new when I’m unsure about it/taking the plunge What do other people recognise as your weaknesses? - Getting caught up in things that aren’t a priority - Getting stressed when things don’t go to plan Where do you lack experience? - My most recent lack of experience now would be being in education. Although I spent 3 years after secondary school, it has been many years since I’ve been in formal education

Threats Do you have weaknesses that need to be addressed before you move on? - Time management and planning What problems could your weaknesses cause if not dealt with? - Work not up to standard because of not planning or managing time properly - Over analysing minor things so my concentration or efforts aren’t managed appropriately
