TAKE-HOME ACTIVITY II The creation of associations that support gay couples who want to have children Is getting way more common. This corporations help them by making easier getting a surrogate or getting in contact with a sperm bank. But the LGTB community faces many problems when they try to become parents. Adoption is a very rigorous process, in which the couple has to be approved to have a child. When It comes to homosexual couples, they must fight against those who doesn’t support their community. Many heterosexual people despite the idea of letting gay matrimonies have children. They affirm that the child is going to grow surrounded by problems and is going to affect their life. The child is going to deal with the fact that his parents are not “normal”, and homosexuality is going to be presented as a norm. A kid has no need to grow in such an awful ambiance. But gay couples didn’t give up and now researches show us that children from this families have no behaviour or social problems. It is not proved that the sexuality of the parents affect the child sexuality since there is so little research on this area. Now much more people just express that we should let everyone be however they want to be and be happy with who you are.
