INTRODUCTION

In the first place, when we talk about art we are talking about a discipline, which emerges from human’s mind and is responsible for the study and manifestation of the cultural evolution of human societies. The truth is that art refers to a final product or activity through which the human being tries to express and transmit ideas, thoughts, sensations, emotions, visions about the world and the environment he inhabits.

BRIEF HISTORY OF ART It is in the Paleolithic stage, in which the man is dedicated to hunting for subsistence and lived in caves, where shortly after the cave painting was developed. The man became sedentary, started to work the land for planting crops. They began to create societies where with the passage of time, importance is given to religion. This is how later the development of crafts begins to appear. The artistic manifestations appeared around 25,000 BC, among the first elements that appeared, were utensils worked in stone, wood or bone. Given the emergence of rock painting, they used the oxide obtained from iron, among other elements. During the Middle Ages the arts were considered crafts of little quality but when these had their time of greater splendor thanks to movements like the Romanesque or the Gothic, the artists happened to be the impellers of the Beautiful Arts and with this they gained more recognition. Later in the Modern Age great artistic movements like the Renaissance and the Baroque shone. Some of the most famous and important works currently belong to this era, such as La Gioconda by Leonardo Da Vinci or The Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo.

La Giaconda by Leonardo Da Vinci

Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo

After 1789 and up the contemporary age began.

In the 19th century there is the Romantic period, which was the precursor of impressionist and post-impressionist artists. The 20th Century was characterized by the Vanguards. Artistic movements of short duration and different from each other. Some of the best known are Cubism, Expressionism or Surrealism. During this century the famous Pop-art was also developed, whose main exponent was Andy Warhol.

IMPORTANCE OF ART IN SOCIETY Art is a form of expression, and as such exerts a liberating and de-stressing effect for those who practice it and / or enjoy it. Art contributes to the exchange of knowledge and content, allowing analyzing social circumstances, healthy coexistence, community participation and encouraging dialogue based on ideas. But nevertheless its most important role is related to culture. Through art, cultural aspects related to different human areas are reflected, such as traditions, popular expressions, beliefs and behaviors that identify the social group. The art exposes

an analysis of reality and its critical vision, supporting the transformation, serving as a space to challenge the established, as well as a tool for learning.

INTRODUCTION TO THE HAMPARTE PROBLEM Currently there is a great problematic in most of the galleries around the world, especially those that are most prestigious. The concept that people have had of art starting from several millennia back, has been collapsing due to the increasing artistic movements that try to rebel against the standards. This idea of rebellion is perceived today reflected in the works that are exposed as art in the galleries. These, through their simplicity and their notorious lack of technique for the conception of them, try to express a new way of seeing art, relating it more to what man sees through his mind (thoughts) than what he sees with his eyes (aesthetics). It is with this argument that thousands of hamparte paintings have been cataloged and overrated as authentic works. This condition has caused many problems and controversies when some people see that a work of extremely simple artistic structure and concept is sold for thousands and millions of dollars and those that have been done with the greatest skill possible are cruelly marginalized and rejected.

Untitled (1970): $69.9 million USD.

Black Fire (1961): $84.2 million USD.

Invisible Art: $10 thousand USD. THE MEANING OF HAMPARTE

This is a new concept in the art community it means (Art of the Mundane) we could use this term to talk about some “Artist” who’s trying to sell and exhibit his works in a gallery but a normal person can’t see the art concept in those works because it doesn’t exist any concept to see; you can recognize a hampart case if you see the following features:

HAMPARTE’ MANIFEST

1. If one or several objects manufactured in series and that are also for sale in the common market are presented as a work of art, it is Hamparte.

2. If the work consists simply in the choice of an object (objet trouvé, found art or ready-made) that is magically converted into a work of art by the fact of placing it in an exhibition space, it is Hamparte. 3. If it is not necessary to have the talent to carry out a work like the one shown, if it is full of common places and hackneyed ideas, it is Hamparte 4. If the only value that the work has is fundamentally supported by a conscientious theoretical / philosophical / political text that does not find its real reflection in the work, it is Hamparte. 5. The fantastic and magical attribution of nonexistent values to objects that are commercialized in the art market with exorbitant prices is Hamparte. 6. An artist never earns the right to be an artist. He has to prove it continuously. Although he has done a great work of art, this does not mean that everything he does is art. He can do Hamparte consciously or unconsciously. If he does it unconsciously, he will be a pure ham-partisan. If you do it in a conscious way to evidence and denounce what is happening in the market and in the art world, or for the simple pleasure of doing so; He is a realistic ham-partist. But all the works that are created under these terms will be Hamparte. 7. In short, the art of not having talent is Hamparte.

Some examples for hampartist we have:

Wilfredo Prieto: Tried to Sell a half glass of water in 20.000 € in Arco Art fair

Martin Creed: Expose a toilet paper pyramid on Hayward Gallery in London

Daniel Buren: Simple color Stripes framed, Main art works from this artist
