Question 3: Reasons scientists interviewed gave for Hiroshima being bombed, despite hesitation on part of scientists at the time… Many scientists could have moved away form the project once the war ended in 1945 but they continued in building because they could not stop the momentum of building, could save many allied casualties, and if they had stopped building and using the bomb the war would have not ended. Russia became the "new nazi" because they have build the hydrogen bomb. Many scientist feeling slaved towards the build and could not stop. Wanted many countries to know and The UN. Many scientists did not understand the consequences of their actions until the bombing and after Hiroshima they were never the same after the bombing. 1. 1.
