King George is initially personified as a shy and incapable member of the royal family who has a crippling stutter and is unable to speak in front of a large audience or people who he finds intimidating. This included things like rocking back and forth or waltzing to maintain rhythm, or imagining swearing vigorously when coming to a pause. Overall this allowed for an optimal performance when delivering his final speech. Because he was able to eliminate all possible sources of error and struggle he unleashed the true power of his voice and was able to speak clearly and effectively....
