Introduction: Red Lobster employs more than 63,000 employees in many restaurants in the United States and Canada. The first Red Lobster restaurant was opened in 1968 by Bill Darden. Soon, this high-quality fish and flavor were recognized. Today, Red Lobster has more than 700 restaurants and is known as the top expert in the field of fresh seafood. (Facebook, n.d.). The company has adopted a new vision, mission and the company has implemented a value-focused strategy aims. The company is now looking for Strategy, vision and values, and are seeking to rebuild job descriptions to filter out The best candidates, they will be more culturally inclined to motivate employees and enhance Customer Experience. Job description creation process A job description is a useful tool that explains the job title, function, tasks and duties in clear language. It details who performs a specific type of work, how it is done, and the frequency and purpose of the work related to the organization's goals. There are many reasons for using job descriptions, such as setting salary levels, conducting performance reviews, clarifying tasks, determining job titles, establishing reasonable residence control, and using it as a recruitment tool. Moreover, job description is useful for position planning, providing job training and creating legal requirements for compliance purposes. The job description provides employees with a concise and clear source of information and can be used as a guide for job performance. In the same manner, the supervisors can utilize job description as a tool to evaluate the employee achievement. (SHRM, 2019). There are three key steps to create job description; Perform Job Analysis, Establish the Essential Functions and Organize the Data Concisely. The job analysis process will provide accurate information about the job so that the organization can perform it effectively, and includes: interviewing employees to see exactly what tasks are being performed, monitoring how tasks are performed, and asking employees to fill out surveys or worksheets. The results must be recorded and reviewed by current employees and their superiors to understand any changes

related to knowledge, skills, abilities, physical characteristics, environmental factors, and job qualifications/experience. When establishing performance standards for a particular job, the basic functions of the job should be determined. It includes defining basic functions by ensuring that the task required to perform the task is part of the task, the time spent on performing the task, determining the consequences of not performing the task, determining whether the task can be redesigned or performed in other ways, and determining whether the task can be reassigned to another employee. Once the basic jobs are determined, the employer can determine whether these jobs are necessary or marginal. (SHRM, 2019). The job description structure may vary from one company to another; however, job description within the organization should have the same appearance. The following topics should be included: position, job title, salary grade/level/report line, date of final review, objective, basic functions, core and technical competencies, supervisory responsibilities, work environment, type of work and expected qualifications, affirmative action working hours, required travel, education and experience, additional plan statement. (SHRM, 2019). JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Restaurant Manager Job background: Red Lobster Restaurant is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will provide a high-quality menu and inspire our staff to provide excellent customer service. (Workable Technology Limited, 2020). Main tasks: -

Coordinate and lead all aspects of the process to ensure the best efficiency.

Help and support employees and employees to maximize their potential, and do their best to provide them with excellent customer service.

Comply with standards, supervise and ensure operation and production efficiency in terms of quantity and quality.

Promptly handle customer complaints with a positive attitude.

Appoint qualified personnel.

Lead by example to ensure the highest productivity of employees and build relationships with customers.

Assist in pricing and assume budget responsibilities to monitor expenditure and income.

Keep records correct, consistent and well-documented.

Notify the owner or senior management of all activities related to the process and any problems that arise.

Ensure that the entire process meets health and safety standards. (Workable Technology Limited, 2020).

Decision making: - Manage and evaluate team performance and supervise shifts and employee lists. - Evaluate employee performance and provide timely feedback to improve operations. - Maintain inventory, determine measures to reduce waste and cut costs, while adding value to service products. - Ensure consistence with wellbeing and safety guidelines. - Take measures to ensure continuous improvement to obtain better customers. - Manage restaurant image and implement improvement methods.

Supervisory roles and responsibilities: - This position includes responsibilities for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including recruitment, training, development, managing the performance of employees in the restaurant, and ensuring excellent customer service in a pleasant and welcoming environment. - Keep up the restaurant's income, productivity and quality objectives. Guarantee proficient activity of eateries and keep up high efficiency, quality and client assistance norms. - Report to regional sales and marketing managers

Qualifications and experience: - Hospitality management certification or equivalent. - At least two years of restaurant management experience, restaurant general manager, hotel manager or similar positions. - Proven customer service manager experience. - Rich catering knowledge, able to remember and recall the ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait for employees. - Strong leadership, motivation and interpersonal. (Workable Technology Limited, 2020). Conclusion: As a summary, the job description should be prepared in a way that correctly describes all components to clearly understand the role. The organization is constantly evolving, so in order for job description to reflect changing requirements, they should be reviewed, preferably once a year, with appropriate revisions. Setting aside the effort to build up an exact set of working responsibilities is significant for the proceeded with fascination, recruiting and maintenance of representatives. (Page, n.d.).
