Leonardo Jacques MHA/505: System Thinking in Health Care Environments January 17, 2022 Prepare a 500-word summary analysis of the 3 most important strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing your organization. After looking at the organization that I am currently in, I would have to say there are some SWOT that can be said. In many cases there are strengths, weakness, opportunities and treats in practically all organization that you would find people working for, but the fact of the matter is that the people in the organization make up the SWOT. When it comes to the SWOT each of very important for an organization to understand. The strengths are things that have been working for the organization in a good way ensuring everything is running smooth. Some strengths could be communication, timing and delivery. Within my organization everything gets communicated for the highest to the lowest level. This ensures that everyone is on the same page. There are many ways to communicate it just doesn’t have to be just by word of mouth. It can be by policy letters, memos and other written documents. When we are talking about weaknesses that can also be a strength that was form correctly in a way. I would have to say at the organization what could be our strengths could also be our weaknesses. Throughout this organization we strive to have good workflow, products, personnel, and process as fast as we can. For me to be able to understand the organization system, we need to understand our people that is working in the organization. Now that we are talking about potential opportunity, I would have to say the opportunities here are endless. Technology plays a big part in this organization and with that there is a need for people to facilitate the system running the equipment. Now that doesn’t mean there isn’t any room for improvement and with time it will get there. When working with technology there is aways areas that can lead to some possible threats. Some threat that may come about would be someone logging into the system and potentially change a set point to a room in the building to even overriding a temperature making it warmer than it needs to be all of these are potential threats. One way to ensure that these things don’t happen would be to set some preventative measure that can stop these things from happening such as password reset every 90 days as well as training the one would be working on the equipment making sure they don’t leave the system venerable. One issue that would like to mention would be the fact that many workers dealing with this system are not a fan of technology and what it had took over. Many of these guys are from an older generation that what they care now force to use is an equipment that they have never see before. This can be classified as a weakness but with this can create a strength for some of these guys. I believe with the SWOT that is presented in the organization this can help clear of some confusion for some and help there other that my not understand what is going on at all. This will be important moving forward for the organization....
