This assignment will contribute to your final result for the following two (2) units: CHCCOM003 – Develop workplace communication strategies CHCGRP002 – Plan and conduct group activities

What you have to do In this assessment, you are required to complete Tasks 1, 2 and 3:   

Task 1 – Complete Parts A and B. Task 2 – Complete Parts A and B. Task 3 – This section should be completed in the workplace. The Supervisor Statement attached to this assignment should be completed by your workplace supervisor and submitted with your completed assignment.

How you will be assessed These units are competency based. In order to be deemed competent in these units you must satisfy all elements specific to the units and the essential knowledge and critical aspects of assessment in a range of situations. The assessment has been developed to cover these criteria and your TAFE Digital teacher will review all your work and assess your overall result to deem you competent. Please reference your work. Referencing guides are available in the Guidelines and information area on the OLS.

Task 1 Part A Whilst on work placement, organise a meeting within your organisation of a group of no less than five (5) people (in addition to yourself). As the leader of the group, present the digital communication strategy that you developed in your Cluster 2 written assignment and provide an explanation of its objectives. Seek feedback from the group regarding your strategy, including any recommendations for further development. Also ensure that you apply proper group facilitation skills and address the group dynamics as it evolves (i.e. dealing with group conflict appropriately). NB: Please also attach a copy of your digital communication strategy when submitting this assignment for marking. As part of this task, you must complete an agenda using the template attached at the end of this assignment (include facilities, equipment, objectives and resources. Write down the group contract you had for your meeting).

Part B After the meeting, complete the following: 1. Document a summary of the meeting and the feedback given by the group regarding your digital communication strategy (at least 250 words). In this summary, you must record at least three (3) separate suggestions made by the group regarding further development required for your digital communication strategy. 2. In at least 200 words, reflect on how you felt the meeting went. Were you satisfied with the feedback or not satisfied? Explain why you felt this way. 3. Provide an example of a communication strength you demonstrated during the meeting. 4. Provide an example of a communication weakness you demonstrated during the meeting 5. Provide at least one (1) example of something you would do differently in future meetings based on the meeting you just conducted. Name one (1) strategy you could use to improve this.

As part of this task, you must complete an agenda, using the template attached at the end of this assignment, (include facilities, equipment, objectives and resources. Write down the group contract you had for your meeting).

Task 3 This section should be completed in the workplace. You are required to demonstrate the skills listed in the table below during the group meetings you facilitated in Tasks 1 and 2. To show evidence of your ability to complete these tasks, you need to submit the workplace supervisor’s statement provided below. A workplace supervisor provides evidence of your skills in the workplace and completes the ‘Supervisor’s Statement’. The supervisor: 
