Jessica Waterfield MKT 205 Prof. Becker 06/2021 6-2 SWOT Analysis: Reflections I decided to do both SWOT analyses because I was curious about the two. I found the interactive one was a much better fit for me since I do not do well on quizzes. With the Interactive one, I was able to look at all the answers as a whole and then group them into the correct categories. I found that I would have a little more trouble with the weakness vs. threat, but for the most part, I was able to find it pretty obvious and self-explanatory after reading each category and realizing the key points. I can readily recognize them. Knowing this will help me evaluate a product and distinguish between threats, weaknesses, opportunities, and strengths. I think businesses would overlook dangers the most because you never know what could happen, such as the pandemic. Companies never realize what could harm them when all they are trying to do is make a living out of selling products. I think marketers would need to learn how to prepare for the unexpected, and some companies forget that. Two negative impacts that I feel would be overlooking the strength and opportunities the business has. Not focusing on the strengths could cause marketers to lose their sense of purpose and value behind what makes them a company and why they are there. Missed opportunities could mean that they are not putting all their focus into the products or putting too much focus and not seeing what is needed....
