Who do we not treat us our brothers? The black and the Indians. And what do the kids say they niggers and dumb. Teacher asked how are they treated- they don’t get anything in this world b.c they are diff color. Teacher – u wont know how that feels until youre treated that way so lets try judging us by eye color. Blue eyes are better ppl, smater, than brown eyed ppl. Blue eyed ppl get 5 extra mins of recess And brown and blue cant play with eacother on the playground and brown has to use paper cups not allowed to drink from the fountain. Blue eued ppl go back for seconds but brown cant for lunch seconds. Brown ppl say seems like miss Elliot was taking our best friends away from us. 2 boys fighting at recess. Name calling “brown eyes” so the brown hit the blue. Whats worng with being called brown eyes teacher asked – same thing as being called a nigger and means were stupid. Teacher saw the nice thoughtful sudents turn into nasty, vicious and discriminating kids.

NEXT DAY Teacher said she lied and that brown eyed ppl are better than blue eyed. Brown eyes get 5 min extra recess and blue eyes cant play on equip playground. And cant play with each other. Something took them 5 mins to get thru a card pack? But then next day 2 mins now that brown eyed was superior and the non superior blue kids took 3 mins when they were on top and now 4 min 18 sec

Teacher asked should we judge ppl by the color of their skin and eye color. And kids said noo nooo noo and she said you guys will say this right now, this weekm this class but then when u see a black man or an indian will u say haha look at that guy, they still said no theat it doesn’t matter what the color of the skin or eyes it is. Then they threw out collars. Teacher says we have talked about racisim lots and martin luther king was the leader of the month in feb, he was assassinated. “who is going to control your people” as in blacks are sub human who will hold their type off ppl. So she felt white males reacted this way and she wondered how her students would react. She was ironing the TP what have we done with the Indians, we havnt made much progress so one day they will have to walk in someones mocasins so that’s why she split the class according to eye color, making it a micro something division in the 3rd grade class.

This iowa town hasn’t changed, still all white and all Christians. Felt evil, all inhibitions were gone and pent up hositilies they caused you now you have a chance to get it all out in the open, he felt demoralized – said he adult kid And the young kid said I felt like a king The older adult woman said she hated the teacher for what she put them thru. Was at a softball game and she hugged a black male and ppl looked at them like what are you doing Another older woman says that first she thinks that yeah that’s just the blacks but she doesn’t finish that thought and then shes like nope every one does that even the whites. Another older male said your best friend turns into your enemy. So the superior kids get higher tests, and the non superior get bad grades but after the whole exercise they do much better, and their academic changed over 24 hr. Exclusive black and Hispanic classes are seeing the eye of the storm? (a class divided) They have been shown this video at this black and hispanish school for 10 yrs. The kids lived and played together in harmony but they accepted the views that were being given to them by the teacher. So the kids learned that prejudices are what we learn in our minds and what we create in them. He hit his friend that hes known for so many years in the gut I believe he said it didn’t help in hitting so that means violence doesn’t help. They did the experiment with adults the blue is inferior, they don’t smell good you don’t know what u can catch from a blue eyed person.

The blue eyes were left outside for an additional 20 mins after the browns and they were ticked off. The blue eyed person put her gum somewhere. The teacher really went to town on blue eyes Bad listening skills etc… good listeners have good hands feet and mouths. Blue eyed ppl are self centered and stubborn and wish to control their surrounding, very inconsiderate ppl and why are they even ehere – said a brown eyed The adult one, as long as you are picking on him, means youre leaving me alone. You join the winning side.

Teacher said this at the end: and hamid said its important We could be instrumental in wiping out with this exercise, this exercise should be used with all tearchers and all admins but not all students but u could damage a child very easily with this exercise you could have training classes for teachers. Practice doing this until a group of teachers can do it on their own. But not on every student. So what began in a 3rd grade classroom is going everywhere, with officers etc

After you do this exercise and when its over and you are all one again then u can see hw society would be if we could see this instant cousins (unity) but these kids still feel that way aout one another, now were kind of like a family because they found out how it feels to be hurt and they refuse to hurt anyone ever again...
