The American Dream In my opinion the American Dream is the pursuit of happiness through the freedom one gains by living in The United States of America. The American Dream is the ability to build up your wealth and social status, normally to provide better living conditions for their children. Other countries put in place various barriers that prevent their citizens from gaining wealth and social status, while in America we believe that all men are created equal and that is why The American Dream is the hope and possibility given to the citizens to create a better life for themselves and their family. I believe that the American Dream can be achieved. I believe that everyone has the possibility to create change and provide a better future for your family than you grew up in. That being said I do believe that everything comes with a price including living the American Dream, in many cases in order to have the finances to own a nice house, nice car, and raise a large family in a state of affluence, one may have to work very long hours and not be at home with their family as much as they wish. I do believe that the American Dream can be achieved in our society but beware it is not as easy as many people think it is to achieve. You do not just arrive in America and achieve all of your dreams. You have to put in the hard work and dedication in order to achieve your dreams and goals, and that is what the American Dream is all about....
